Why join BJC Hospice?

BJC Hospice is one of the oldest and largest hospice care systems in the Midwest. Our patients have chosen comfort care, with pain and symptom management, rather than curative care; therefore, we emphasize the patient's quality of life, and provide care that neither hastens nor postpones death. Whether adults, teens or children, our focus is on maximizing love and comfort while minimizing pain, fear and uncertainty.

BJC Hospice has developed a caring community of employees who provide comprehensive services to patients faced with life-limiting illnesses and to their families. Our employees care for patients in the patient's home, senior living residence, hospital or Evelyn’s House, our hospice home.

In addition to the everyday, physical needs of our patients, BJC Hospice employees also are sensitive to the emotional and spiritual needs of our adult and pediatric patients -- and those of their families -- to help them cope at a difficult time.

If you are a professional with that special combination of strength and compassion, we invite you to be part of our team.

Equal Employment Opportunity

It is the policy of BJC Hospice to consider all applicants for employment with the organization on the basis of their qualifications, skills and abilities for the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, and to give all employees equal opportunity to progress within the organization without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, age, disability, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other legally protected status. BJC Hospice values diversity among employees, patients, families and the communities it serves and is committed to promote the recruitment and retention of multi-cultural staff who support diversity within our organization.

Commitment to Diversity

BJC Hospice is devoted to promoting an environment of diversity, inclusion and equality. We embrace and support an environment of diverse ethnic backgrounds, cultures, ages, lifestyles and physical abilities.

Our employees come from a diverse mix of perspectives, cultural and spiritual values and beliefs.

Through recruitment, welcoming diverse skills, perspectives and ideas, and engaging and developing a high-quality diverse workforce, we will further build BJC Hospice as one of the largest hospice organizations in the area.
