Do you:

  •

    Set up medication reminder boxes?
  • Provide transportation for appointments and shopping?
  • Perform hands-on care for personal and medical needs?
  • Assist with financial and legal matters?

Receive support and information for all areas of caregiving from professionals in the health care field. Classes are free, and reservations are not required.

"While inside patients' homes, we've learned that caregivers have questions, such as 'How do I turn someone in bed?' or 'How do I administer medication?'" says Barbara Westland, BJC Hospice director. "These classes give them the opportunity to ask questions directly of our professionals."

Caregivers can attend one or all topics. Classes are sponsored by BJC Home Care Services, the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. For more information, call 636.916.9830.
